When Men Began To Think: Revisiting the Ancient Asian Thinking

I got an e-mail from a friend. It's an invite to attend the Alternative University where the topic for that specific date is "When Men Began to Think" which says about how Socrates, Plato and Aristotle shaped the world. I felt a sudden panic inside me. Being a philosophy enthusiast, I just can not nod to its title completely. …enough to mould the western mind but the Easterners were more profound to understand the self not from the outside of the conscious being in relation to the universe. Asians were never detached thinkers. I must insist that the credit must go along with the ancient Indians and Chinese thinkers as well not because either of them reasoned better but because, historically, the Asians were already thinking even before when "western" men began to think.
