…Orders from higher command have caused harsher interrogation techniques to be used to gain information, but it is also clear that certain soldiers have been abusing their authority as guards in the prison. Regardless of what information can be gained, laws should not be avoided and humane treatment of all prisoners should be maintained at all times. An example needs to be set, and the entire world is watching what is being done in Iraq.
