Film Study: Thirteen Days Throughout the film, spy activity and technology occurred regularly. From the start of the film , U2 spy planes were used to locate trucks carrying nuclear weapons in Cuba. …that nations are keeping a watchful eye of opposing nations which they find suspicious. The issue of political sensitivity and how squabbling could affect the lives of millions occurred to me upon viewing this film. As well as this, I also found noticed that, as long as there were missiles, the attempted control would increase, which I witnessed in the film, bringing the USA and Soviet Union ever closer to a seemingly inevitable World War 3.
