On December 24, 1865, in the law office of Judge Thomas Jones, in the small town of Pulaski, TN, near the Alabama border, six young Confederate veterans organized a secret society. The Ku Klux Klan created a great disturbance, for good and bad. Many events that occurred should not be overlooked, however, some were for the good of the South.
