The methods used by Great Britain to control the land and inhabitants of the United States and India differ vastly.

For centuries Great Britain was arguably the strongest nation in the world, an apparent paradox considering the size and isolation of the North Atlantic isle. Today the British still play a large part in Indian affairs, but their influence is absent from American politics. Perhaps in the future, after George W. Bush nukes the entire world for criticizing America, and countries are again in the position to colonize foreign lands, the new imperialists can follow the example set by the British in India.
