The meiji Restoration and how education helped the permanance of the new regime

In conclusion from this we can see how knowledge and education was used as a tool by the Meiji government as first an instigator in westernization and modernization and later harnessed and manipulated into a significant factor in ensuring the continuance of the new regime.
