"The Prime Minister's power and his current policy" (2003)

1. Foreword In my essay I want to work out some crucial aspects concerning the British Prime Minister. As an example I especially want to refer to the current "leader" in Great Britain Tony Blair and the former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. A Prime Minister may also have to resign by force although he/she is very strong and confident as the example with T. Blair shows- his attitude towards Iraq and the Kelly-affair do not contribute to a popular image. He did a lot for Britain but with those incidents people tend to see the negative and to forget about his achievements.
