…risk by service members who cannot meet the demands of the battlefield, the military must be able to choose those most able to survive, fight, and win. All the debate in the world won't settle the issue of whether or not letting women or men fight together will strengthen or weaken our Armed Forces. Basically, it would have to be tried. As the saying goes, "run it up the flagpole and see who salutes it."
