…I would say that she is the successor of Sylvia Plath. Plath and Maso are two very descriptive writers. Both of them have a sad, depressing tone in their writings. They paint a picture in your minds so you can almost feel what they are feeling. I am glad to have read many different kinds of authors and to be challenged by Maso's and Plath's work. Both writers are so different but still the same.
