Should Australia Sign The Kyoto Agreement?

The threat of global warming caused by the overuse of greenhouse gases and consequently the depletion of the ozone layer have caused for the introduction of the Kyoto Agreement, an agreement made by the governments of 55 developed nations at the United Nations Climate Change Convention in Japan 1997, to reduce worldwide greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 5% by the year 2012. …Kyoto Agreement is entirely beneficial to Australia, it's economy and it's people as it encourages environmental awareness and the development of alternative and better technologies. The signing of the Kyoto Agreement would create a dramatic social and economic change for Australia, therefore I believe that Australia should sign the Kyoto Agreement, and develop more suitable means of reducing carbon dioxide emissions, so as the Australia's natural environment may be preserved and protected for future generations.
