Proud or Ashamed of Earth?

If one day our planet were to be visited by aliens of a highly civilized planet, would you be proud to show them our world, or ashamed of all that's wrong with it? Although I am proud of all the technology we have acquired, I would have to say I am overall ashamed of the world of poverty, crime, and hate that we live in. …another, rather than a common goal to help al people live together in peace and happiness. Our tour ended here. The aliens told me that we have a very different society than theirs. They told me that, while not everything was bad and that there was a lot of great things on our planet, they would not be returning to visit. There was too much they had never seen before that was frightening to them.
