"Ortona: A Battle Forgotten" (Battle in which the allied forces free Italy)

Ortona : A Battle Forgotten During World War Two, there were many decisive battles that took place. Some on land, some on the sea, and some in the air, the battles even took place in all three. The most decisive battles that we remember, Dieppe, Omaha, D-Day, and Stalingrad. These battles are great in their own views, but the battle of Ortona, was also significant in it's own lead. …soldiers mentalities, was worth saving the lives from Hitler's regime. The joys on the faces of the Italians they saved, the love they show now. They will forever be remembered in history, Canadian and Italian, with a remembrance of the effort, and sacrifice they put in, to save their lives, and the effort to stop the war. Ortona will never be truly forgotten, even though in the minds of many, they wish it never happened.
