Introduction
Despite the fact that almost all of us use at least one piece of Microsoft software nearly every day, criticism and complaints about Microsoft are commonly expressed. We are here to argue that Microsoft has achieved this status by using unfair business tactics and creating a monopoly.

small. However, this does not imply that Microsoft does not control the software industry. Microsoft has eliminated competitors through aggressive OEM contracts, questionable error messages, bundling software with its operating systems, and various other predatory actions.
All of the evidence has pointed to Microsoft as acting in a potentially illegal manner and definitely an unethical manner. Something must be done to prevent further acquisition of power by Microsoft, which would allow more abuse to occur.
