…to be happy. Because that is what the government does, they provide people with the right to pursue happiness. The government allows people to do almost whatever they want. They are free to start businesses, to travel, and to have millions of dollars. Jefferson's right to pursue happiness is one that will hopefully never find its end in this country. When people lose this right is when the government has failed to serve its purpose.
