Aim: The aim of this investigation is to find out the relationship between the extension and force applied up to the point of distortion.
Theory: Robert Hooke discovered a law for all elastic materials in the seventeenth century. Hooke found that a small force stretched a spring a little and that double the force stretched it twice as much. Hookes Law is that the amount the spring stretches

the spring was measured from the same point each time. I think everything went fair. I didn't encounter strange results like, the spring extending by 10mm each time. I have leant not to rush things. I think I should have spaced my investigation out so I wouldn't have to rush. I think if I could do the experiment again I could make it more accurate. I might even have better results or even strange results.
