Institutional Racism.

In The Color of Fear, Victor said, "Most of the lethal, deadly, toxic racism that people of color experience...comes from moral, fair-minded people who are lovers of justice--mostly decent and very nice folks." He discusses the most visible examples are racial profiling, drug convictions, and death row executions and the less visible are unemployment levels, infant mortality rates, special education placements, and psychic depression treatments. Blatant racist policies of the past still pervade in our institutions and contributes to the system of racial stratification in our society.
