…upshot to the environment. Also, the testing of GM foods shouldn't just be coming from the biotech industry itself. The consumers are part of a massive experiment. Only after thousands of people have consumed GM food for an extended period of time, will we then be able to know any detrimental effects. At the least, GM crops should be clearly labelled, so one can choose whether to be part of this unethical experiment or not.
