India was a great country for Britain to have as one of its colonies because India had 300 million people at that time and were a big potential market for British-made goods. …did. He used his civil disobedience principal as his weapon to win freedom. This is something very few people have done in the history of mankind to win freedom without violence. Gandhi showed that violence is not everything and you will always win if you are fighting for the right thing and for the truth. Even though Gandhi died and didn't get to live in the free India he created he will always be remembered.
