Everybody, even without realizing it, is affected and makes use of the principles of force and motion. …the revolutionary edeas of Aristotle and Galileo, the people in today's modern times probably would not have gained an understanding of motion. Without that understanding, todays advance like automobiles and airplanes would probably not exist. The scientific societly must be thankful that great minds like Galileo who stated, "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forego their use."
