Life for Jews was very hard, especially during the great depression. It was a time for Jews that wasn't so pleasant. She didn't live a normal childhood. Everyday life during the inter-war in Germany and Holland was very hard for the Jews. They were put through a lot. I am grateful I never experienced that pain and suffering, you never know, it could happen again.
