it has. In addition to that, he pioneered the origins of modern music and brought it into our lives. Unfortunately, Elvis passed away at a relatively young age. Elvis died at his Memphis home, Graceland on August 16, 1977. Although he is not here with us anymore, his legacy still lives on within us. He may not have invented rock and roll but he definitely played an important roll in redefining the genre that it is today.
