In August of 1945 nuclear weapons were released upon the people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. Soon after Japan surrended, consequently ending WWII. But was dropping the bomb justified, or an immoral act? After the attack of Pearl Harbour in December of 1941 American military started work on the Manhattan project in secret. …of the atomic bomb could possibly have led to the development of the cold war. The nuclear bomb may have been the cause for the end of WWII, perhaps resulting in saving more lives than were lost. However both immediate and long term side effects were faced by those who were exposed to the bombs harmful radiation. After the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima the atomic bomb has never been use on a society again.
