Can Winning the Presidential Debates Affect the Election Outcome?
<Tab/>In the first presidential debate, which took place on October 1st, 2004, according to the majority of reporters and "undecided voters" John Kerry was deemed the winner. However a fair amount of articles and a large amount of "undecided" voters said that George Bush won the debate, who really won and what affect could this have on the polls.

Bush also made a mistake in not admitting that he was wrong for attacking Iraq on gounds that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. A combination of Bush's failure to disclose his plans, not admitting he made a mistake and his physical weaknesses were all reasons I feel George W. Bush lost the 1st presidential debate.
