Anthony Giddens' "The Third Way".

Anthony Giddens is the Director of the London School of Economics and Political Science and belongs to the most important personalities of contemporary world sociology. He is the author or editor over thirty books. …the positive approach to globalization as a phenomenon of broad importance (it is not only a global marketplace), maintaining social conditions defined by Giddens as "no rights without responsibilities" and "no authority without democracy" and in the attempt of coordination of modernisation (ecological modernisation, modernisation of social democracy) with the philosophic conservatism. In conclusion, Giddens tries to conciliate social democratic and neoliberal approaches in the framework of his new version of the Third Way politics.
