Andres Santa Cruz Andres Santa Cruz was a Bolivian solider. He was also commander, chief and other things. But among all the things he was he was a Bolivian President. He was born in La Paz. Santa Cruz got defeated in 1843 when he tried to restore his government. He was taken prisoner and went to Chili never to be seen again. In 1848 he was sent as a rainister from Peru to France. After all this he stayed in France, were he died 22 years later.
