it might be logical to conclude that leaders who demonstrated development-oriented behaviors are more likely to be the most successful leaders. This however is only partially true. As mentioned before successful leaders are those whose leadership styles are compatible with the characteristics of their following, as well as the context under which they must lead. And so while many situations may call for leaders to demonstrated development-oriented behaviors, development-oriented behaviors will not always effectively work.
