A novel is an authors perception of the world - or is it? An analysis of 'The Well of Loneliness' by Radclyffe Hall and 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' by Wilde

A novel is an author's perception of the world when the author has no aim to not show it. As long as the views expressed are not consciously being vetted then art will, almost by definition, reflect the artist.
