not conclusive in either book it is evil that seems to dominate but in the end it is defeated albeit in Jekyll case by his own sacrifice. Is this the case in today's society, we are fighting that battle as a society and also within ourselves, evil seems to have the upper hand on many occasions, we will have to wait to see the outcome and what sacrifices we will have to make to succeed.
